Olivier David
Olivier David first discovered the practice of Ashtanga Yoga in January of 2004. Starting in 2009 he went to Mysore, India to deepen his practice at the source of Ashtanga Yoga and has since then made annual trips to continue his studies with his teacher R Sharath Jois.
Olivier is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga Yoga after the examples and teachings of Sri K Pattabhi Jois and R Sharath Jois.
In 2009 Olivier had the blessing and opportunity to start traveling and teaching all over the world. Sharing this amazing practice that has been passed down to him.
In 2015, Olivier was Authorized Level II to teach Ashtanga Yoga method by his Guruji R. Sharath Jois in the tradition of Pattahbi Jois & Sri T. Krishnamacharya.
In 2016 Olivier had the honour and privilege to learn and assist his Guruji R. Sharath Jois at KPJAYI
In 2018 Olivier opened Ashtanga Yoga Sunshine Coast and is leading daily mysore classes at the shala.
Dan Fanthorpe
Dan started practising Iyengar yoga with his mum in his childhood. He completed his first Yoga teacher training with the IYTA in New Zealand before studying for nine months in 2003 with Louisa Seers, Clive Sheridan & Lance Schuler in Byron Bay.
Dan then moved to Sydney in 2004 to study and teach under Eileen Hall at Ashtanga Yoga Moves. Since 2004 Dan has travelled to India each year to study with Sri K. Pattabhi & Sharath Jois, in 2012, Dan was blessed by his teacher Sharath Jois, to teach the Ashtanga Yoga Method as an authorized level 2 teacher. In 2009 Dan opened Ashtanga Yoga Newcastle and for the last 9 years Dan has devoted his time and energy to the wonderful yoga community in Newcastle.
Dan likes to keep yoga simple. His method of weaving traditional yoga philosophy, asana and anatomy together, helps guide students to a better understanding, appreciation, and application of yoga in everyday life. Dan's goal is to provide his students with a healthy body to live in and a calm mind to live with.

Irantzu Rekalde
Irantzu embarked on her yoga journey in 2013 with her first Ashtanga class at Ashtanga Yoga Madrid. Originally drawn to yoga as a complement to her dance career, she discovered a passion that reshaped her path. Assisting Yoga classes became a new outlet after her dance career, allowing her to channel her focus into this transformative practice.
Under the guidance of mentor Alexia Pita, Irantzu's journey with Yoga deepened. She has also studied with notable instructors like Laura Griskeviciute, Mati Guerra, Arne Espejel, Peter Sanson, Hamish Hendry, and most recently Olivier David, whom she assists and teaches for in his absence. Irantzu's commitment led her to the source of Ashtanga Yoga in Mysore, India, where she practices under Sharathji Jois since 2019, immersing herself in tradition with a diverse community from all around the world.
Blending her dance background with yoga, Irantzu creates a unique and dynamic approach. Her journey with yoga has been one of profound personal growth. Today, she shares this transformative power with her students, embodying the union of mind, body, and spirit.
