Ayurvedic eating guidelines:

Select food for your dosha, eliminate snacking, eat until satisfied not full, consume fresh and whole foods, reduce ice-cold foods and beverages, eliminate distractions while eating, stop eating three hours before bed, favour herbal teas between meals, eat your largest meal of the day at lunchtime, include the six tastes; sweet/ sour/ salty/ bitter/ astringent/ pungent.
